1 Billion teenagers and young adults around the world may be at serious risk of damaging or even losing their hearing, due to long or frequent exposure to places with loud music or inappropriate use of headphones.
A study recently published in the well-known scientific journal BMJ Global Health reveals these worrying data. Statistics show us that the real number can vary between 0.67 and 1.35 billion young people in the world suffering damage to their hearing pattern.
We can only call for prevention. Lower the volume on your headphones and use ear protection whenever you are exposed to harmful sound environments.
If you have noticed any changes in your hearing, book a consultation with your doctor.
